The Greater Baltimore Model A Ford Club
Hello and welcome to the internet home and website of The Greater Baltimore Model A Ford Club.

This site is dedicated to the Model A Ford of 1928, 1929, 1930, & 1931; a short period in the overall time line of the automobile, but an important period as the Ford Motor Company transitioned from the "tin-lizzie" of the past to the "New Ford" of the future.
*** NOTICE: Due to existing weather related conditions and forcasts of additional winter precipitation, the February membership meeting of the GBMAFC is cancelled. Please pass the word along. See you in March. ***

Excerpt from this month's President's Message in "The Steering Column"

..."You know, I think maybe we have the greatest hobby of all. We can work on it, travel in it, play with it, show it off, talk about it with a multitude of admirers, and wave at all those on the road who honk at us and wave. Showing a Model A that has been meticulously restored with lots of time and (??), and that you are more than just attached to, will bring great satisfaction. Then, many times it grows old and gets sold, and work begins on another. For me, the time I spend behind the steering wheel of Miss Minnie looking through that windshield around that skinny little wiper blade and past the motor meter sticking up on top of the radiator is surely the greatest prime time of all. And it just repeats itself every time Miss Minnie and I hit the road. I listen to every sound she makes telling me how she feels, what she likes to do, and when she needs some TLC."
